Description
A beautiful little 16 Bore E. Whistler side by side hammer gun. Original oil finished one piece straight hand stock showing some age releated marks, the stock is accompanied by a slim matching bolted forend with a scroll engraved forend tip for decoration.
Jones style rotary underlever action with scroll engraved back locks and non rebounding hammers, the action shows some traces of original colour.
The action is set alongside a pair of 30" damascus barrels which measure very well in terms of proof and wall thickness although there is some very slight pitting to both bores.
Supplied in the canvas carry case with original maker's label. Sold by ourselves to the previous owner in 1988 (for £500)
